FAQs about Tourism for All 2025

A new programme to boost domestic tourism. The subsidy is part of the Greek government’s broader strategy, aiming to support Greek households against the impact of the inflationary crisis and reinforce domestic tourism businesses.

You can use the Tourism for All 2025 Pass only through a virtual card and exclusively for your accommodation in a hotel or room you choose.

You can apply, provided you:

• Pay taxes in Greece.
• Have submitted a final income tax return by the deadline for submitting tax returns for the year 2023, and the tax return has been cleared by that final deadline for submitting applications.
• Are single or widowed and your personal income is between €19,000 to €29,000, depending on the number of children.
• Are married or have a civil partner and your family income is between €31,000 to €41,000, depending on the number of children.
• Were not entitled to the Social Tourism 2024-2025 programme by the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
• Did not win the draw for the Tourism for All pass in 2022, 2023 or 2024.

To enter the programme you need to apply through the dedicated vouchers.gov.gr app and choose the term when you want to use the aid.

An electronic draw follows and a final table of beneficiaries is compiled with the names of the those for whom a virtual card will be issued.

You may find the final table of beneficiaries on the websites of the:

• Ministry of Tourism
• Information Society SA (KTPAE)

If your name is drawn, you receive 1 virtual Tourism for All 2025 Visa card, where the subsidy amount is credited. The virtual card is personal.

You may use the card to pay for your accommodation in any hotel or room in Greece, with no geographical restrictions, provided you do so within the term you registered in your application. You may use your card for contactless POS or online transactions.

The hotel or room owners are paid instantly, without any waiting or red tape.

You can spend the amount in one go or for partial transactions by 31.12.2025.

When you apply for the programme, you choose the tourist period you are interested in and receive the corresponding aid.

To apply, you must have Taxisnet credentials and verify a mobile phone number and an email address.

For 67% disability or more according to the Tax Return for 2023, the family member with the disability may choose from the revolving list of AMKA/PAMKA/PAAYPA.

All the steps of the process may also be completed by a certified Citizen Service Centre (KEP) employee, either in person or through an authorised representative.

Yes, by the final deadline for submitting applications (10.03.2025).

After you have successfully submitted your application on the dedicated vouchers.gov.gr app, you can:

• Revoke or cancel your application and submit a new one.
• Edit the application or modify the details you have registered.

Yes, provided you:

• Meet the income criteria.
• Have their own Taxisnet credentials.
• File a tax return.

Business owners are paid on the spot through the virtual card, without the red tape of previous years.

This way it is easier to redeem your subsidy, during the tourist period you have chosen.

No. The programme covers exclusively accommodation expenses.

Local travel or food expenses are not covered.

A virtual Tourism for All 2025 Visa card is issued. The subsidy amount is credited in this card.

You can activate the virtual card using any smartphone.

To use the virtual card at a POS as soon as you activate it, you must:

• Add it to the digital wallet you choose (Apple Wallet, Google Wallet).
• Use it with a smartphone that supports NFC transactions.

Otherwise, you can enter the card details (number, expiry date and CVV) on the website of the accommodation provider, as long as they offer an online payment option.

No, there are no restrictions as to the:

• Number of overnight stays.
• Geographical area, as all the accommodation providers across Greece participate in the programme.

The only conditions are that:

• The total amount paid must not exceed the amount corresponding to each beneficiary.
• Beneficiaries use the credited amount exclusively within the term they registered.

No. You can redeem the subsidy at hotels or other tourist accommodation in 2 ways:

• In one go
• In partial transactions, within the selected term

Yes, provided you:

• Had chosen Alpha Bank for issuing the Dentist Pass or Youth Pass.
• Filled in the same details as those you had filled in for those programmes, when you applied for Tourism for All 2025.

As soon as the draw by the Ministry and the process for issuing the Tourism for All 2025 Visa card are concluded.

Provided you are among the winners of the draw, you will receive a relevant text message with instructions on how to use it.

No, the Tourism for All 2025 Visa is a virtual card.

To shop at POS devices, you can add your card to the digital wallet of our choice (Apple Wallet, Google Wallet).

• At POS devices, by adding your card to an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet digital wallet through myAlpha Mobile.
• Online, using your card details. To view the details (card number, expiry date and CVV), go to Cards > Card Details on myAlpha Mobile.

Yes, through the myAlpha Mobile app provided you have e-Banking credentials.

Your new virtual Tourism for All 2025 Visa card is instantly available in the Overview section (home screen). To view the details (card number, expiry date and CVV) choose: Cards > Card Details.

With these details you can use the card to pay online for hotels or rooms you choose across Greece.

Alpha Bank’s app for mobile phones. Through the app you can stay up to date on your products at Alpha Bank, and also transfer money or make payments.

To use your virtual Tourism for All Visa card.

Through myAlpha Mobile, you can view your card details, use your card online or add it to your chosen digital wallet to shop in-store.

To recover your e-Banking password online, you will need:

• Your email.
• Your mobile phone.

To recover your e-Banking username online, you will need:

• An Alpha Bank card number.
• Your email.
• Your mobile phone.

When you apply, choose Alpha Bank to get and use your virtual Tourism for All 2025 Visa card.

If you are among the winners of the draw by the Ministry, you will receive a Viber/text message as soon as we receive your application from the programme.

When the process for issuing the virtual Tourism for All 2025 Visa card is completed, we will send you a relevant text message.

To view your card:

1. Choose “Login with credentials” on the myAlpha Mobile overview page to log in using your e-Banking credentials (username and password).
2. Find your new virtual Tourism for All Visa card on the overview page (under “Cards”).

If you have not yet installed the app on your mobile phone, you can download myAlpha Mobile directly from your mobile phone.
