What is NFC?

"Near field communication" is a short-range wireless technology that ensures the connectivity of the device to the POS terminal. Its operation is based on the contact or approach, at a distance of about four to five centimeters, of the device containing the NFC chip, to another device that includes the appropriate sensor.
