We are redesigning our products and are replacing all notosplus Visa cards with the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard credit card, which is similar in terms of quality. Our aim is to move into the new era, and offer you flexibility and better services, in line with the current market conditions.

The Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard incorporates innovative technology and is universally accepted in Greece and abroad. It is also linked to the Bonus programme, the biggest loyalty programme in Greece.

No. The notosplus Visa card will be cancelled within 2 months from the time your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard is issued.

So make sure you activate the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard as soon as you receive it. Once you activate it, the notosplus Visa card will be cancelled immediately and you will only be able to use the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard in its place.

You may destroy it. As soon as you activate the new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, the notosplus Visa card will stop working. 

Yes. Until you receive your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, the notosplus Visa you already hold will continue to work as usual.

No, they will not be affected in any way. Only the notosplus Visa will stop working.

No. However, you gain access to Alpha Bank’s Bonus loyalty programme.

No. If the notos gift voucher is still valid, you may redeem it at a notos store cashier with your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard.

Give the number of your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard to the companies you had set up standing orders with your notosplus Visa (e.g. mobile phone companies, pay TV companies, insurance companies, subscriptions to websites, magazines, newspapers, etc.).

Update them with the details of your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard.

Once you activate the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, you will need to add it to your digital wallet and remove the notosplus Visa.

As soon as you activate the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, the outstanding balance and any pending transactions on the notosplus Visa will be transferred to it. From then onwards, these will be paid off through the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard.

Within 2 months from being issued, the outstanding balance and any pending transactions on the notosplus Visa will be automatically transferred to your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard.

All holders of additional notosplus Visa cards will receive a new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, additional to your own.  They will be able to use it in the same manner for their transactions.

As soon as you activate the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, the pending interest-free instalments on your notosplus Visa will start being charged to your new card each month, as usual. 

Yes. If you wish, you can change the direct debit setting from your computer through myAlpha Web.

If you have not yet received your new card, it’s on its way and you will receive it shortly. Provided we have your email or mobile number, we will notify you as soon as your new card is available.

1. Activate it

Activate the Mastercard within 2 months from the time you receive it: 

• Through your mobile phone, using myAlpha Mobile
• Through your computer, using myAlpha Web
• At an Alpha Bank ATM

2. Notify companies regarding any standing orders

Give the number of your new Mastercard to the companies you had set up standing orders with your Diners club card (e.g. mobile phone companies, pay TV companies, insurance companies, subscriptions for websites, magazines, newspapers, etc.)

You will find information about the PIN for your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard in the letter that comes with the card.

If you have forgotten your PIN, follow the instructions to recover it.

If you want to change your PIN with another 4-digit number, go to any Alpha Bank ATM.

As soon as you activate the Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard, you can start using it. 

You can shop in-store or online anywhere in Greece and abroad that accepts Mastercard payments, as well as use it at all ATMs with the Mastercard logo.

You can also pay in a flash with:

• Contactless transactions
• Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Xiaomi Pay and Garmin Pay)

Yes, provided you had chosen to receive e-statements and had activated Alpha alerts for the notos plus Visa card.

For the Affinity Mastercard, Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard and Vodafone Bonus Mastercard, alerts are sent through push notifications. You just need to have installed myAlpha Mobile on your mobile and activated push notifications.

No. Given that the notosplus Visa will stop working, all benefits linked to it will no longer apply.

However, your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard is linked to the Alpha Bank Bonus loyalty programme.

Yes. However, you can increase the limit of your new Mastercard credit card.

The dates may change. You will be notified of the new dates once the 1st statement for your new Alpha Bank Bonus Mastercard is issued.

With every Bonus card transaction 

For each €1 spent, you earn: 

• 4 points at premium plus merchants (AB Vassilopoulos, Aegean, ΒΡ, Vodafone, attica, Natural Gas, Generali, Hondos Center, Hertz, BOX, Kotsovolos).
• 2 points at 4,000 participating merchants.
• 1 point at any other retailer in Greece or abroad using your Bonus credit card. 

For each €2 spent, you earn 1 point at any other retailer in Greece or abroad using your Bonus debit card. 

With every Alpha term deposit with Bonus

Depending on the deposited amount, you earn Bonus points:

• Every month, if you have opened an Alpha online term deposit with Bonus using myAlpha Web.
• Every 3, 6 or 12 months if you have opened an Alpha term deposit with Bonus at an Alpha Bank branch.
  

1. Find the offer that best suits your needs at one of the participating merchants. You will find the offer search tool on the Bonus points redemption page. Move the slider to see your points and view all the offers you may find interesting. Alternatively, you can use the filters to narrow your search.
2. Redeem your points when you shop in-store or online. Many businesses allow you to redeem your points when you shop over the phone (e.g., Aegean, Zoulovits).

For you to redeem your points, the participating merchant must use a Bonus POS to complete the transaction. You may want to remind the sales assistant to use the POS during the transaction.
