How to start banking remotely

Complete a few simple steps to start banking with Alpha Bank remotely.

1. Fill in the form

Go to alpha.gr and fill in the remote onboarding expression of interest form.

We review your request and confirm that you fall within the scope of customers who can start banking remotely.

2. Contact our advisor

An international advisor contacts you to guide you through the process and inform you about the required documents.

Once you have gathered the documents, you can proceed through the link sent to you by our advisor.

3. Join a video call

After clicking on the link, accept the relevant terms and provide the required consents.

Join the video call with an authorised Intelli agent for identity verification and document upload.

Video calls are available from 07:30 to 23:30 (Greek time) and take about 30 minutes to complete.

4. Start banking with us

Once the video call and the onboarding process have been completed, within approximately 2 business days your:

  • Account and e-Banking access are set up, along with the Benefit Base transaction package.
  • Enter Bonus Visa debit card is issued.

You’ll also receive a welcome email with useful information about your products and guidance on how to activate and use them.

In some cases, additional regulatory or compliance checks may be required, depending on your profile and the applicable requirements.

These may include checks related to anti-money laundering or tax regulations.

What are the required documents for the process?

Do I need to translate my documents?

Yes. All required documents must be submitted as original or certified copies. If a document is not originally issued in Greek or English, it must be accompanied by an official translation into Greek or English.
