With Alpha Home Insurance, you get to choose the covers that best meet your needs and finances:

• Basic – You are covered against fire, earthquake, lightning and other risks, such as vehicle collision or explosion.
• Superior – In addition, you are covered against flood, other natural disasters, severe climate changes, and risks such as theft or civil commotion. At the same time, you are compensated for any transportation and temporary accommodation expenses, until your home is habitable again.
• Superior with contents – Protect the building and contents of your main or holiday home. Along with the Alpha Home Insurance Superior covers, you are optionally covered against subsidence and/or landslip, and against damages to installations and objects outdoors.

New for old cover

In case of damage, you are compensated for the value of your home as new, without impairments due to age or wear and tear.

Technical assistance cover

If you need technical assistance in case of damage, you're compensated for the relevant cost.

Up to €0 excess with the Superior package

If you opt for the Alpha Home Insurance Superior or Alpha Home Insurance Superior with contents package, you are the one to determine your excess, meaning the amount you’ll need to pay out of pocket in case of an insured risk: €0, €250 or €500.

The earthquake cover excess, which corresponds to 2% of the insured amount, is excluded.

Starting at €12/month

Your premium depends on your home size in square metres, the year it was built and your chosen excess:

• For Basic, the minimum cost of €12/month applies to homes with main living areas up to 80 square metres, built after 2005.
• For Superior, the minimum cost of €15/month applies to homes with main living areas up to 80 square metres, built after 2005, and a €500 excess.
• For Superior with contents, the minimum cost of €21.50/month with earthquake coverage applies to homes with main living areas up to 80 square metres, built after 2005, and a €500 excess.

By standing order

Pay the premium by standing order from the account you choose when you apply.

Payments can be made every month, 3 months, 6 months or year.
