Hospitalisations costs
If you need to be hospitalised in a Luxury, A, B or C type room, you are covered for:
- 100% of the hospitalisation costs in Greece and Europe
- 80% of the hospitalisation costs in the rest of the world
- Doctor’s fees or private nurse costs
Choose the maximum amount of hospitalisation costs you want your health insurance to cover:
- €1,500,000
- €600,000
- €200,000
If you are hospitalised in one of the affiliated hospitals in Greece or abroad, Generali settles the hospitalisation costs directly.

- Financial aid in case you need to be hospitalised abroad.

Your excess
Your excess, i.e. the amount you pay out of pocket, is deducted from the total amount of the hospitalisation costs covered by your health insurance plan. According to your savings and your monthly budget, you can set your excess at:
- €500 (this sum drops to zero if you also have public health insurance)

- €5,000
- €9,000
