For new cards

Activate your card in 3 steps and add it to your digital wallet.

 
Tip: You don’t need to wait to get the new card by post to use it. You can activate it from myAlpha Mobile and start shopping and paying using your digital wallet on your mobile.  

For cards you already hold

Keep track of your card balances, Bonus points, if you hold a Bonus card, and activity/transfer log. Moreover:

  • Load your prepaid cards.
  • Transfer Bonus points from 1 of your Bonus cards to another.
 
Tip: If you’ve forgotten your card PIN, you don’t need to contact us. Simply request to have your PIN resent through myAlpha Mobile.

Send money anywhere

In just a few steps, you may transfer money:

  • Between your own Alpha Bank accounts or to another holder’s Alpha Bank account.
  • To another bank in Greece or abroad immediately or at a future date.
 
Tip: Did you send money to someone and they never received it? Look through your transaction history to locate the transfer.                                                                  

You may also pay:

  • Card bills issued by Alpha Bank and other banks
  • Loans instalments, you own or someone else’s, at Alpha Bank
  • Bills issued by companies and organisations
  • Donations to charities

Up to €2,000 a day

With IRIS payments you can send money to your friends as easily as sending a text message.

Send up to €1,000 a day, free of charge, to any of your mobile contacts, provided you have both activated the service. You may also use IRIS to pay up to €1,000 a day to professionals, businesses and e-shops, as long as they have also activated it.

Payments with QR scanning

You may pay professionals, businesses, e-shops and your bills by scanning the QR code.

Stolen or lost card

If your card has been lost or stolen, report it in a flash from your mobile, without having to call us. Your card is cancelled immediately. If you want, you can ask to have it reissued at the same time.

 
Tip: If you’re 100% sure that you’ve lost your card, you can block it temporarily, until you find it, for transactions at ATMs, POS devices or online, or for all three. 

Transaction limits in debit cards

Change the transaction and withdrawal limit on your debit card, depending on your needs.

Activate push notifications

Activate push notifications, if they’re not already activated, to approve in a flash from your mobile transactions you carry out through myAlpha Web or payments you make using your Alpha Bank cards online.

How to manage your e-Banking from your mobile

Recover your credentials if you’ve forgotten them, tailor your e-Banking to your preferences and update your details.

  • Recover your username online, as long as you hold an active Alpha Bank card and have registered your mobile number and email with us.

  • Recover your password online, as long as you remember your username and have registered your email and mobile number with us.

  • You may change your e-Banking username and password before they expire, using ones you have less trouble remembering.

  • Unlock your e-Banking online in a flash, in case you locked it.

  • Activate biometrics and push notifications.

  • Save transactions you carry out regularly, so you won’t have to repeat the process each time.

  • Change your mobile number or email on the spot: Profile > Personal info.

  • Update your details through eGov-KYC or by online document upload, any time you like.

How to log into the mobile app for the 1st time

With your e-Banking credentials and provided you have a smartphone.

Download the app and login

Download myAlpha Mobile on your mobile from:

  • Google Play for Android devices
  • App Store for iPhone
  • App Gallery for Huawei

Install the app on your mobile and choose “Login with credentials”.

Enter your e-Banking credentials (username and password) to log in.

 

Follow the steps

  1. Enter the 6-digit confirmation code you received.
  2. Tap on “Next” to start your device identification.
  3. To register your device, enter the 6-digit confirmation code you received.
  4. Set a 4-digit PIN for quick app login.
  5. Re-enter your 4-digit PIN for confirmation.
  6. You can also activate Touch ID or Face ID if you want.
  7. Choose “Activate” to start receiving push notifications to approve transactions.

Why are there 2 Alpha Bank apps on the app store? Which do I download?

Both myAlpha Mobile and the Alpha Bank mobile app are official Alpha Bank apps. You can download them only from your device app store.

For the time being, you can use the Alpha Bank mobile app, which is in pilot phase, provided you’ve received official notification from Alpha Bank.

If you haven’t received a notification, you can download and use myAlpha Mobile.

I want to download and use the myAlpha Mobile app. What are the system requirements for my device?

You must have a smartphone with operating system:

  • iOS 16+
  • Android 11+

If you have an older operating system installed on your device, the myAlpha Mobile app will run, but you won’t be able to download the latest versions of the app. As a result, certain transactions may be limited.

To carry out transactions through e-Banking:

  • Update the operating system of your device to the latest available version, if supported.
  • Use myAlpha Web from your computer.
 
The myAlpha Mobile app is not available for rooted devices.

I cannot update the myAlpha Mobile app and carry out transactions from my mobile. What should I do?

To use the latest version of the myAlpha Mobile app you must have a smartphone with operating system:

  • iOS version 16 or later
  • Android version 11 or later

To carry out transactions through e-Banking without limitations if you have an older operating system installed on your device, you should:

  • Update the operating system of your device to the latest available version, if supported.
  • Use myAlpha Web from your computer.
