What’s the annual fee

0,80€ monthly fee

You pay the monthly fee at the start of the month. On the 1st day of each month, the fee is automatically charged to your account.

If there is a month when you have no money left in your account, you are not charged the package fee and do not receive the free transactions or services. As soon as you deposit money into the account, the fee for that month is charged automatically, and you get the free transactions and services of the package.

Tip: Make sure there is sufficient balance in your account so that the free services and transactions are not deactivated.

No annual fee

For all your accounts, if any of the following conditions are met:

You are receiving your salary or pension at Alpha Bank.
You are Alpha Bank Gold or Private Banking customer.
You hold more than €10,000 in deposit, insurance and investment products at Alpha Bank.

For individual accounts if:

You have linked them as primary accounts to Enter Bonus Visa or Enter Bonus Mastercard debit cards.

How much you save and how

Up to €1.33 a month

Depending on the number of transactions you carry out, you can save up to €1.33 a month:

Total transaction fees – monthly Benefit Base fee €0.80 = Monthly savings

The amount you save depends on the free benefits and the number of transactions you carry out each month. The €1.33 example was calculated based on all the free transactions offered in the package.

Monthly transaction renewal

On the 1st day of each month, the number of available free transactions is automatically renewed. You can use them any time between the 1st and last calendar day of each month.

Tip: Make sure you use all the transactions you are entitled to within the month, as you cannot roll them over to the following month.

There’s an €0.80 fee on my account that I’ve never seen before. Why is that?

All new Alpha Bank payment accounts and, gradually, existing ones are automatically linked to the Benefit Base transaction package after prior notification.

With a monthly fee of €0.80, you get free transactions, such as unlimited payments, one money transfer of up to €5,000 from another bank or to another bank in Greece through digital banking, one payment of a credit card issued by another bank, etc.

Your accounts are automatically linked to the Benefit Base transaction package. You can deactivate the transaction package whenever you want.

My account was automatically linked to the Benefit Base transaction package. Can I cancel the package and activate it another time?

Yes, you can deactivate Benefit Base and re-activate it any time you want, with the monthly fee charged directly to your account.
