Online card activation

As soon as you receive your new Alpha Bank card, you can activate it online through your e-Banking and start using it right away.

How to activate your card online

Once you receive the physical card, log into myAlpha Mobile from your mobile or myAlpha Web from your computer.

1. Locate your card

Once you receive your card in physical form:

  • On myAlpha Mobile, find it on the home screen (Overview). If you can’t locate it there, log into myAlpha Web to add it.
  • On myAlpha Web, find it on the home screen (Overview). If you cannot locate it there, you can add it.

2. Activate your card

On myAlpha Mobile, choose “Activate physical card”.

On myAlpha Web, click on the 3 dots to the right of the card. Then choose “Card Activation”.

Fill in your card expiration date and choose “Activate”.

When and where will I receive my new card?

5-7 working days after the card has been issued, at the home address you have registered with Alpha Bank.  

Your card will be delivered by regular mail and will be inactive. After you receive your card, you will have to activate it.  

If you have not received your card after 7 working days, call us on +302103260000. 

How will I receive the PIN for my card?

By SMS. You can request to have your PIN issued online or through SMS.

Requesting your PIN online

From your computer through myAlpha Web:

  1. Locate your new card on the home screen (Overview).
  2. Click on the 3 dots on the right of the card and click on “Send PIN”.
  3. Confirm that your mobile phone number is correct. If not, you can change it.
  4. Click on “Send”. 

From your mobile through myAlpha Mobile:

  1. Scroll down to the Cards section on the home screen and tap on the card for which you want to request a new PIN.
  2. Tap on Settings > Send PIN.
  3. Confirm that your mobile phone number is correct. If not, you can change it.
  4. Tap on “Send”.

Requesting your PIN through SMS

If you do not have e-Banking credentials, you can send an SMS to 19129 from the mobile number you have included in your Alpha Bank personal details:

P (in Latin script), (space), application reference number (sent to you by SMS when you applied for the card), (space), identification code (you can find the code at the bottom of the letter you received with your card).

E.g.: P 34567 456789

Can I use my card before I receive it in physical form?

Yes. You can activate the virtual use of your new card and use it before receiving the physical card.
