How e-Banking payments make banking easier

You can pay:

Immediate payment
The money is transferred instantly. This method is available for card payments, Α700 or Alpha Epilogi loan payments, as well as payments to a number of companies and organisations.
At a selected date
The money is transferred on the date you have chosen. The earliest possible date that a transfer can be carried out is the same business day:
- At 17:00, if you enter it before 16:00.
- At 22:00, if you enter it after 16:00.
Make sure you have sufficient balance in your account on the payment date. If the payment does not go through, we send you a free email or text message to notify you, through Alpha alerts.
By charging an account
Make payments by charging any of your accounts in euro that are linked to your e-Banking.
By credit card
To make payments to companies and organisations, you may also use your credit cards. At the same time, you collect points from the Bonus loyalty programme.
By prepaid card
Make payments to companies and organisations by charging your prepaid card.
€0 fee for Alpha Bank payments
You pay no fees for payments to your Alpha Bank credit cards and loans.
More affordable than at a branch
For all payments, the fees are equal to or significantly lower than those at branches and they range:
- €0/transaction, for payments to the State, social security funds, local authorities, and insurance, energy, water and telecommunications companies.
- From €0 to €0.50 / transaction, depending on the company or organisation.
- €1 for credit card payments to another bank.

Can I make payments from my mobile or computer?
Make payments online provided you...
- Hold an account or an active Alpha Bank credit card.
- Have e-Banking credentials.
- Have updated your details at Alpha Bank.
Have at hand...
- The payment / bill number, which appears on your bill
- The payment amount
- The pay-by date, as it is necessary for certain payments, e.g. EYDAP
Make payments through e-Banking
Through your mobile with myAlpha Mobile
- Choose “Payments“ from the menu and then “Payment categories”.
- Type the name of the organisation in the respective field, e.g. EYDAP, or choose another payment category.
- Choose the account from which the money will be transferred. Enter the payment / bill number or the card number you want to pay.
Otherwise, choose “Scan QR code” to scan the RF or QR code with your mobile.
Choose the date you want the payment to be carried out and enter the payment amount. Choose if you want the amount to be blocked or not.
Choose “Continue”. - Check the payment details and choose “Confirm”.
- Confirm the transaction with your 4-digit PIN or biometrics.
Through your computer with myAlpha Web
- On the home screen, choose Transfers & Payments.
- In the “To” section, fill in the product nickname, the name of the organisation (e.g. PPC, Vodafone, Cosmote, EYDAP, etc.), the payment number, the number or the nickname of the card or loan you want to pay.
Otherwise, you can browse for your desired payment using the payment category list under the Payments section.
- Choose the account to be debited (From).
- Fill in the payment number and amount.
- Choose how the transfer is executed: “Regular priority” if you want the transfer to be carried out immediately or “Post-dated” if you want the transfer to be carried out at a future date.
If you choose “Post-dated”, you must also choose whether the amount will be blocked or not. - Choose “Continue”.
- Confirm the transfer with push notification or the 6-digit code you receive on your mobile.

My internet connection failed while I was making a payment. How can I know whether it has been completed?
Choose: History > e-Banking Transactions > Payments.
If the payment appears there, then it has been completed.
If it does not appear, then it has not been completed and you must try again.
Can I pay somebody else’s bill?
The payment details I entered are incorrect. Can I cancel the payment after I have completed it?
Yes, as long as it has not been processed yet.
Log into myAlpha Web, find the menu on the left:
History > e-Banking Transactions > Payments.
Find the payment you want cancelled, click on the 3 dots on the right and click on “Cancel”.
