Adjust your savings according to your finances and personal planning. You can save:

  • From €100 to €1,000
  • Every 1, 3, 6 or 12 months

You pay the amount by standing order from your Alpha Bank account. You cannot make any extra payments.

After the 1st year and provided you have made all the payments, you can increase or decrease the amount, or change the payment frequency.

For 12 to 30 years

The Alpha Exelixis Capital Creation unit-linked plan has a long-term investment horizon.

You set a savings term between 12 and 30 years at the start of the plan. You cannot change the plan term afterwards.

Option to temporarily suspend payments

If you are having difficulties making payments, as of the 2nd insurance year you can temporarily suspend them.

To resume the plan, you simply make the last payment. In the meantime, the investment plan continues to yield returns, and its term does not change.

What happens if I miss a payment for the Alpha Exelixis?

For the 1st insurance year, if you miss one of the payments, AlphaLife is entitled to terminate the insurance policy by written notification.

The policy ends 1 month after you receive the notification and provided you have not made the payment in the meantime.

From the 2nd insurance year onwards, the plan is converted to a free payment plan. Plan payments are due as usual.

If you don’t make any payments for 12 consecutive months, the standing order is automatically terminated.

To resume the plan, all you need to do is make the last payment. AlphaLife will re-evaluate the insurance risks covered by the plan and may reject your request to resume the plan, if you no longer meet the insurability requirements.

Once the plan is resumed, the standing order is activated again.

What should I do at the end of the plan as the beneficiary?

Update online the details related to your:

  • Identification – ID card or passport
  • Tax residence – tax clearance certificate

If you are not the beneficiary, AlphaLife issues a certificate for the policy details and payment amount. You must submit at the branch:

  • Inheritance, donation or parental gift tax return (as applicable) issued through the myPROPERTY app (Government Gazette A 1066/2023).
  • Solemn declaration according to Article 8 of Law 1599/1986 through gov.gr or from a Citizen Service Centre (KEP) stating that the information arising from the inheritance, donation or parental gift tax return has not changed.

If the beneficiary is under-age, some additional forms may be required.
