Who it’s for
The Fuel Pass subsidy is for you if you:
- Have full or joint ownership of a vehicle or motorcycle.
- Are a lessee under a leasing agreement.
- Keep your vehicle or motorcycle in circulation and insured.
- Have paid the vehicle registration fees.
You can declare only one vehicle or motorcycle, over which you have full or joint ownership.
Up to €60 for your transportation
For vehicle owners
If your primary residence is in the regional units of North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, Attica islands, Sporades, Thasos, and the islands of Skyros, Samothrace and Ammouliani, you may choose one of the following:
- €60 on the Fuel Pass Visa card
- €50 deposited into your Alpha Bank account
If your primary residence is in the rest of Greece, you may choose one of the following:
- €50 on the Fuel Pass Visa card
- €40 deposited into your Alpha Bank account
For motorcycle owners
If your primary residence is in the regional units of North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, Attica islands, Sporades, Thasos, and the islands of Skyros, Samothrace and Ammouliani, you may choose one of the following:
- €35 on the Fuel Pass Visa card
- €30 deposited into your Alpha Bank account
If your primary residence is in the rest of Greece, you may choose one of the following:
- €30 on the Fuel Pass Visa card
- €25 deposited into your Alpha Bank account
Easy management
The Fuel Pass Visa card is virtual and is not issued in physical form. Add it to your digital wallet and use it anywhere in Greece, at:
- POS terminals in fuel stations and taxis
- Public transport validators
You can use the aid amount in one go or for partial transactions up to 31.07.2026.
Get the aid
1. Log into gov.gr
Every year, until 23:59 on 15 May:
Choose Fuel Pass on the special vouchers platform on gov.gr.
Choose “Log into the app” and fill in your Taxisnet credentials to log in.
2. Choose provider
When asked to select a provider, choose Alpha Bank.
Then choose between:
- Getting the Fuel Pass Visa virtual card issued.
- Receiving the amount in an Alpha Bank account where you are the account holder or joint holder.
If you choose to have the card issued, you don’t necessarily have to bank with Alpha Bank.
3. Get the Fuel Pass
You’ll receive the subsidy within 2 business days from the day we receive your application:
- On a card that will be issued and loaded, if you choose the Fuel Pass Visa virtual card.
- By deposit into your account, if you choose to receive the aid in your Alpha Bank account.

Am I eligible for the Fuel Pass subsidy?
Yes, as long as you are a natural person or a freelance professional and a tax resident of Greece, with a declared household income for the 2024 tax year up to:
- €25,000 for singles.
- €35,000 for married couples or parties to a civil partnership, increased by €5,000 for each dependent child in the household.
- €39,000 for single-parent families, increased by €5,000 for each dependent child beyond the first.
How can I receive the Fuel Pass subsidy?
In 2 ways:
- By having a virtual Fuel Pass Visa card issued, which you can use with a compatible smartphone that supports NFC contactless transaction technology.
- By receiving the amount in a bank account where you are the account holder or joint account holder.
How can I use the Alpha Bank Fuel Pass Visa card?
You can use the virtual Fuel Pass Visa card once you’ve added it to a digital wallet:
- Apple Wallet, for iOS devices
- Google Wallet, for Android
- Garmin Wallet for Android
