What’s the interest rate

8.75% fixed interest rate

The annual nominal interest rate for the Green Solutions – Green loan for the home is 8.75%. It is fixed for the entire loan term.

The Law 128/1975 levy, currently 0.60%, is added to the interest rate.

Without collateral

What are the loan amount and term

From €1,500 to €30,000

Depending on your needs and the way you obtain the loan, you borrow:

  • From €3,001 to €30,000 through digital banking.
  • From €1,500 to €30,000 by appointment at a branch.

From 6 to 96 months

Repay the green loan for the home in 6-96 months, depending on your finances.

What’s the loan fee

€120 for us to process your application.

We deduct the amount at disbursement, meaning, when we deposit the loan amount into your account.

How you repay it

Each month, you pay interest-bearing instalments, repaying both interest and capital:

  • Buy and install home solar panels, heat pumps, solar water heaters or solar water heating systems.
  • Change door and window frames.
  • Install thermal insulation.
  • Buy home appliances, such as energy efficient air conditioning units.

Net metering

Get financing to buy and install home solar panels, and save money through net metering with the energy provider of your choice.

With net metering you can offset the energy generated by your system against the energy you get from your provider or use it for own-consumption.

Can I get a personal loan?

1. Set up your loan

Log into your mobile app or web banking with your credentials. In the “New products” section, choose: Personal loans > Get a loan.

Enter the loan amount, term and the needs you want to meet with the loan. Then:

  • On your web banking find out the sample monthly instalment.
  • On your mobile app tap on “Calculate your instalment” to find out the sample monthly instalment.

Tap on Learn more > Get the loan > Continue.

2. Apply in 5 steps

  1. Choose the account where we’ll deposit the loan amount and from which you’ll be paying the instalment.

  2. Accept the pre-contractual information for the loan and the Alpha Bank personal data notices.

  3. Answer 4 or 5 short questions.

  4. Upload the necessary supporting documents.

  5. Check the loan details and submit the application.

3. Wait for your application assessment

We assess your application and inform you of the result by email.

We may approve or reject your application, come up with a new proposal or request a guarantor.

4. Sign the agreement digitally

Provided your application has been approved, you digitally sign the agreement with a 6-digit code you receive on your mobile. Right after, we send you your loan agreement to your email. The agreement is also available on your digital banking.

You see the deadline for signing it. After this time, the application is cancelled and you need to start over.

5. Get the money in your account

We immediately deposit the amount of the personal loan in the account you have chosen.

We automatically collect the loan fee as soon as the amount is deposited.

  2. Copy of monthly payslip or pension slip (recent), if you are receiving your salary or pension at another bank.
  3. ID card, if you are a foreign citizen from an EU country, or passport and residence permit if you are a citizen of a non-EU country.
