The loan is provided through the Just Transition Investment Loan Guarantee Fund, which is managed by the Hellenic Development Bank (HDB) and co-financed by the European Union, through the Just Transition Development 2021-2027 programme.

How much I can get and is it with or without collateral

From €10,000 to €16.5 million

You take out a loan from €10,000 to €16.5 million.

With personal guarantee or other collateral

You provide personal guarantee or other collateral for up to 30% of the loan.

HDB guarantee on 80% of the loan

80% of the loan amount is guaranteed by the Hellenic Development Bank.

What is the interest rate and what are the fees

Fixed or floating interest rate

You choose whether you want fixed or floating rate based on Euribor + spread.

3% interest rate subsidy for 2 years

For the first 2 years of the loan you get a 3% interest rate subsidy.

Law 128/1975 levy

According to Law 128/1975, all loans are subject to a levy that is paid to the Greek State.

For the loan from the Just Transition Investment Loan Guarantee Fund, the levy currently stands at 0.60%.

No guarantee commission charge

You are not charged with guarantee commission provided you comply with the State aid ceilings.

You can choose whether you want the guarantee commission to be:

Covered by the Just Transition Investment Loan Guarantee Fund and constitute a form of state aid, included in the total Gross Grant Equivalent (GGE).
Paid by you in a lump sum for the entire loan term, when you receive the money, and calculated based on the guaranteed loan amount.

What are the loan term and repayment method

From 2 to 12 years

Repay the loan in 2 to 12 years, depending on your finances.

Repayment based on your plans

You can adapt your loan payments according to your business needs and cash flow. You pay:

In instalments that pay interest and capital or instalments that pay just capital
Every 1, 3, 6 or 12 months
