Insure your business with the basic mandatory property insurance package and choose the optional covers you need.

This way, you shape your own insurance plan based on the needs of your business, but also comply with the law about mandatory business insurance against natural disasters or civil liability. According to Law 5162/2024, businesses with over €500,000 turnover must insure at least 70% of the value of their assets.

The Business4all insurance plan is ideal for freelance professionals and owners of sole proprietorships or SMEs. You may insure:

Your choice of excess

You choose the amount you pay in case of damage, between 2 excess schemes : 5% or 10%.

New for old cover

In case of fire damage, you are compensated for the value of your assets as new, without impairments due to age or wear and tear.

Emergency technical assistance

In case of an emergency, an engineer will come to your business to limit the damage.

Loss of profit and rent

You are covered for up to 12 months for loss of:

• Profit, if the operation of your business is interrupted or hampered. The compensation depends on your income.
• Rent, if you are the owner of a damaged leased building.

Civil liability and remote work

You are protected against liability claims in case of bodily injuries or material damages caused to employees or third parties, which may occur in your business premises or surroundings.

Moreover, you are covered against accidents your employees may suffer while they are working outside your business premises or buildings.

Personal accident

You, as the business owner, and your employees are protected in case of personal accident. You have:

• 24-hour coverage in any part of the world.
• Coverage for medical costs arising after a possible accident.

Money loss

You insure your business cash, while it is kept in your cash register or safe, or is in transit.

Starting at €80/year

You pay a premium starting at €80/year, depending on the:

• Covers you choose
• Insured amount
• Building size in square metres and the year it was built

By standing order

Pay the premium by standing order from the account you choose when you apply. Alternatively, you can set up a standing order on your credit or debit card.

Payments can be made every 6 months or year based on your premium.

Generali will send an assessor to assess the damage, if necessary, and will start the claim process.

Provided you send in any documents requested, you’ll receive the insurance payout within 10 days.
