What you need to know

Find detailed information about the file preparation and conversion tools for multiple transactions.

What it is

With the multiple transaction file conversion tool you can convert, free of charge, payment files in SEPA ISO 20022 xml format, compliant with Regulation (ΕU) 260/2012.

The file conversion tool:

  • Accepts various file types, such as credit transfers, direct debits, payments to organisations and simple imports.
  • Produces xml files compatible with ISO 20022.
  • Converts xml response files into simpler formats, such as TEXT ASCII or XLS, for system updates.

You can then upload the files on business web banking, Alpha Mass Payments or Alpha Bank File Transfer.

Sign up to business web banking to submit files for intra-bank payments.

Sign up to Alpha Mass Payments

Sign up to Alpha Mass Payments and log in using 1 of the following methods:

  • Web application for receiving files online through the service website (web client)
  • File transfer through a secure connection to the service (FTP interface)

Access to services 

Once you have completed signing up, you gain access to:

  • Intra-bank and/or inter-bank payment orders
  • Intra-bank collections – direct debits
  • Electronic account statements (extraits)
