File preparation tool

Your multiple transfers through myAlpha Web can be conducted in a faster and easier way.

With the File Preparation Tool you can prepare files for your multiple transfers without logging in to your myAlpha Web profile. This way, after you have prepared your file, you may login to myAlpha Web only to upload the file and complete your multiple transfer even faster and easier.

Covert your files to XML

According to the Regulation (EU) 260/2012, all the payment order files exchanged with the Bank through electronic services (myAlpha Web, Alpha Mass Payments), should be in a SEPA ISO 20022 XML format. Alpha Bank assists you conduct your electronic payments within SEPA, by providing you with the File Conversion Tool, the free of charge supporting tool to easily convert your transactions files to SEPA ISO 20022 XML format.

File Conversion Tool

The File Conversion Tool (Conversion Service) is a supporting tool offered free of charge in order to assist you in processing your payment orders within SEPA until their full migration to the SEPA ISO 20022 XML format, as defined in the relevant articles of Regulation (ΕU) 260/2012. 

The File Conversion Tool enables you to convert the payment order files that you exchange with the Bank through the following services:

  • myAlpha Web,
  • Alpha Mass Payments,
  • Alpha Bank File Transfer

to the new file format which is compliant with the Regulation (ΕU) 260/2012. 

The Tool:

  • Accepts a variety of mass payment order file formats (credit transfers and direct debits) used by the different channels of the Bank, and
  • Produces XML file format in accordance with the ISO 20022 standard.

You can also use the File Conversion Tool to convert the reporting (info) files in XML format in accordance with the ISO 20022 standard that you receive from the above services  to the current file format that you already receive for updating your systems.

FILE CONVERSION TOOL

Until 31.1.2016 you have the ability to exchange files TEXT ASCII or XLS format with the Bank by using the previous version of the File Conversion Tool, which is available if you click the icon which is appeared below.  The aforementioned version enables you to convert the payment order files that you exchange with the Bank through the following services:

  • myAlpha Web,
  • Alpha Mass Payments, and
  • Alpha Bank File Transfer

to the new file format which is compliant with the Regulation (ΕU) 260/2012. 

Practically the TEXT ASCII or XLS format file which is created by using the File Conversion Tool contains the IBAN account numbers and an additional Remittance Info field with a maximum length of 140 characters.

The Tool: 

  • Accepts a variety of mass payment order file formats (credit transfers and direct debits) used by the different channels of the Bank, and
  • Produces files of the same format (TEXT ASCII or XLS), in which account numbers are in IBAN format-instead of the 15-digit format and an additional Remittance Info field with a maximum length of 140 characters is contained.

You can also use the specific version of the File Conversion Tool to convert the reporting (info) files, in which accounts are in IBAN format, to files with account numbers in 15-digit format for updating your systems.
