Every municipality of the Attica Region participates in the program where citizens can separate materials into plastics, aluminum, paper / cardboard, glass, edible oils, stainless objects, metal objects, clothes & fabrics, in order to recycle them.
These materials are delivered to the Smart Recycling Corners (Kiosks and), which can be found on the THE GREEN CITY app and website. Citizens can bring their recyclables, with no time limit, as they are at the Mobile Green Points.
In addition to the Smart Recycling Corners, citizens can also collect Green Coins through the home composting program using the Smart Home Mechanical Composter, which can be obtained by applying through their Municipality.
By recycling and composting, citizens earn greencoins. The number of greencoins depends on the type and weight of the materials they recycle, according to the terms of THE GREEN CITY, which are posted on www.thegreencity.gr.
