Funky Buddha was founded in 2003, born out of the passion and intuition of two young brothers and businessmen from Greece. What started as a simple business trip, turned into an epic adventure with the highs and lows of the Far East. Initially looking for business opportunities, a delay at a local train station led them to a major detour. They returned from it loaded with crates and stories! The “rising sun” flag became the brand’s symbol and an inspiration for what has become a highly successful idea: to make great clothes that suit all individuals, reflect their personality and make them feel at ease. The brand was launched in the summer of 2003 and its tees and cargo shorts became an instant hit, surpassing expectations and setting the standard for the brand’s further expansion. Within just a few years, with the collection becoming more diversified and more comprehensive, the commercial success of the Greek company took off. In a short time, Funky Buddha has become a cult brand for those who love to wear clothes inspired by values such as freedom and respect for the individual and for the environment.
