Enjoy a favourable financial environment
Greece’s non-domiciled (non-dom) tax regime offers:
- €100,000 annual flat tax on all foreign-sourced income, regardless of the amount earned, with an additional €20,000 per spouse, child or parent
- Ordinary tax rate for Greek-sourced income
- No tax or reporting for income or assets outside Greece
- Inheritance and gift tax exemption on assets outside Greece
To qualify as a non-dom tax resident, you must:
- Not have been a Greek resident for at least 7 of the last 8 years.
- Invest a minimum of €500,000 in Greece within 3 years.
The non-dom tax status is valid for 15 years and cannot be extended beyond that. Failing to meet your tax payment obligations will result in the loss of your non-dom status, and you will then be taxed under the standard Greek Revenue Tax Code.
