How to get control of your card
Detailed card activity updates
To keep track of your debit card activity, find your card on digital banking (web banking or the mobile app).
- Receive alerts with Viber/text message or email in real time for every card transaction.
- Confirm your online transactions with push notification or the 6-digit code you receive with Viber/text message on your mobile.
- Receive a one-time password (OTP) for each of your transactions with the Secure Web service.
- Change your card cash withdrawal and transaction limits online through your digital banking.
- Block your card temporarily if you’re not sure whether you’ve lost it.

I cannot find my new card on web banking. How can I add it?
- Scroll down on the home screen (Overview). Under “Credit and Prepaid Cards” and “Loyalty Programme”, select “Add another product”.
- Click on “Alpha Bank”.
- Select “Card” from the drop-down list.
- Type your card number.
- Click on “Add”.
How do I activate my card?
From your computer or mobile phone, as long as you have e-Banking credentials.
From your computer through myAlpha Web:
- Locate your new card on the home screen (Overview).
- Click on the 3 dots on the right of the card and choose “Activate Card”.
- Fill in your card expiration date and choose “Activate”.
From your mobile through myAlpha Mobile:
- Scroll down to the Cards section on the home screen.
- Choose “Activate card”.
- Fill in your card expiration date and choose “Activate”.
If you cannot find your new card on myAlpha Web or myAlpha Mobile, you can add the card.
If you do not have e-Banking credentials, you can activate your card at an Alpha Bank ΑΤΜ after you have received your PIN.
