myAlpha Vibe: How to get it
Discover the easiest way to give pocket money to your child online, right from your mobile. Using their own physical and virtual card and specially designed app, children become more independent and learn how to carry out secure transactions.

How to kick off the process...
1. Locate myAlpha Vibe
Log into the mobile app with your digital banking credentials, 4-digit PIN or biometrics.
Locate myAlpha Vibe under New products > Pocket money to children.
As soon as the screen opens, tap on “Learn more”. On the next screen, read the eligibility criteria and the FAQs. Tap on “Get myAlpha Vibe”.
2. Choose package and account
Choose:
- myAlpha Vibe One, at €1.99 a month, to give pocket money to 1 child.
- myAlpha Vibe More, at €2.99 a month, to give pocket money to 2-4 children.
The first 3 months are free of charge.
If you hold an account linked to an active Benefit transaction package, you pay no fees for myAlpha Vibe.
Choose the account to be charged every time you load your child’s card and tap on “Continue”.
3. Fill in the details
Fill in the child’s details: first name, last name, date of birth and first name of the other parent. Choose “Continue”.
Ensure that the information is correct and tap on “Confirm”.
Then:
- Choose the address where you want to receive the card.
- Check the mobile number where you’ll receive the card PIN.
Choose “Continue”.
See the package you have chosen and scroll to the end of the screen.
4. Get the card
Confirm the transaction with your 4-digit PIN or biometrics.
Your child’s card is all set. We send a text message to the child’s mobile with a link to download the myAlpha Vibe app.
5. Pair the 2 parent-child apps
To start pairing the parent and child apps, choose “Continue”.
The child taps on the link they receive by SMS on their mobile. On the page that opens, they tap on “Download” and are transferred to the corresponding store to download the app.
As soon as the child opens the myAlpha Vibe app, an 8-digit code and a QR code appear. Through your mobile app, scan the QR code or fill in the 8-digit code. Tap on “Continue” to pair your app to the child’s app.
To approve the pairing of the 2 apps, confirm with your 4-digit PIN or biometrics.
To complete the pairing, the child must create a username and password through their app. You have 2 hours to complete the process.
6. How my child gets the card
For your child to log into the app and use the card, they choose “Create profile” to create a username and a password.
The child logs into the app with their username and password, and:
- Registers the device.
- Creates a 4-digit PIN and, if they wish, activates biometrics.
- Activates the push notifications, which are activated in 24 hours.
- Reads and accepts the terms of use, the personal data notice and the cookies policy.
They add the virtual myAlpha Vibe Bonus Visa prepaid card to their digital wallet, as long as they:
- Are 15+ for Apple Pay, 15+ for Google Pay and 16+ for Garmin Pay.
- Have an NFC-enabled mobile.
You receive the actual card by post in 8-10 working days.

How your child can use myAlpha Vibe
About getting updates through the app
Your child can keep track of the card through myAlpha Vibe, a specially designed version of the mobile app, where they can:
- Find their card details to shop online.
- Receive updates on the card balance.
About using the card
Your child approves their own transactions, through push notifications on their mobile. If the push notifications were not activated the first time the child logged into the app, they can do so any time they wish through the app settings under Profile > Settings.
Each day they can shop and carry out transactions up to €500.
The prepaid myAlpha Vibe Bonus Visa card is linked to the Bonus loyalty programme. This means you earn points when your child uses their card to shop either in Greece or abroad.
About digital wallets
For your child to be able to add the card to their digital wallet, they must meet the manufacturer’s age criteria:
- 15+ for Apple Pay
- 15+ for Google Pay
- 16+ for Garmin Pay
Who can load the card and up to what amount
Only the parent
Only the parent can load and unload the card through their digital banking.
Card loading and unloading limits
You can load the card with an amount:
- Between €5 and €500, for any recurring or one-off loading.
- Up to €500 a month, in total, regardless of the number of loadings.
Moreover, you can unload up to €2,000 per day from the card.
How to load the card
From your mobile or computer
Load the myAlpha Vibe Bonus Visa from:
- The “Card” section under “Overview” on the mobile app or web banking, for one-off loading.
- The myAlpha Vibe menu on the mobile app, for one-off or recurring loading.
One-off loading
You can load the card as many times as you like each month.
Any time you load the card, the account you entered when you activated the package is charged. If you wish to transfer money from a different account, you can switch accounts during the loading.
Recurring loading
You can set up recurring loading for your child’s card from the myAlpha Vibe menu through your mobile app. This way, you give them their pocket money at fixed intervals, as you would do you with cash.
To set up the recurring loading, choose:
- Amount.
- Whether you want your child to get their e-pocket money every 1 or 2 weeks, or every month.
If the loading date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the child will get the amount on the next working day.
You can only set up 1 recurring loading. However, if you need to give more money to your child, you can make as many one-off loadings as you wish.
The recurring loading is always made using the account you entered when you activated the package.
Changing or cancelling the recurring loading
You can easily change or cancel the recurring loading through your mobile.
- From “Overview” on the mobile app, swipe right and tap on the “Pocket money to your child” banner.
- Choose the child’s tab.
- Choose “Change” next to the recurring loading.
- Change the amount or frequency of loading or choose “Cancel loading” to cancel it.
- Choose “Confirm”.
How to unload the card
You can transfer money from your child’s card back to your account any time you wish.
From your mobile through the mobile app choose:
- The myAlpha Vibe Bonus Visa card under the “Cards” section.
- “Unload”.
How do I activate my physical card?
- Log into your mobile app with your digital banking credentials.
- Find the new myAlpha Vibe Bonus Visa card under the “Cards” section.
- Click on “Activate Card”.
- Fill in your card expiry date and choose “Activate”.
Alternatively, you can activate your card at an Alpha Bank ΑΤΜ after you receive your PIN.
