Centralised payment management with European Gate

Secure centralised payment management for your group companies outside Greece with the European Gate portal we offer in partnership with UniCredit.

For groups with international presence

  • All payments from 1 point

Manage centrally, from 1 access point, payments to all subsidiaries in countries where UniCredit operates.
  • Faster process

Make payments faster and more efficiently, through 1 banking portal, and use the same payment file type for all countries.

The modern solution for managing liquidity and payments

European Gate is a gamechanger for corporate groups that:

  • Have subsidiaries in countries where UniCredit operates and hold accounts there.
  • Wish to centrally manage payments from their subsidiaries’ accounts.
  • Want to have a complete overview of the group’s domestic and international accounts.

You only need to set up the company that is registered in Greece as the main holding company of the group (forwarding company). Then, you upload payment files to be executed from the accounts of your subsidiaries abroad (account holding companies). When the transactions are completed, you receive response files.

And everything will be integrated with Alpha Bank.

Discover all the benefits for corporate groups

Take advantage of European Gate and streamline your day-to-day processes.

Time and resource savings

  • Automate payments from all group companies that hold an account with UniCredit through 1 portal.
  • Streamline the process with 1 file type for all payments, within and outside SEPA.
  • Reduce the time and frequency of your employees’ training sessions, as they won’t need to work with multiple operating systems.

A solution for your operating model

  • Choose whether you want a web app or SFTP connection. This way, your files are automatically sent through your ERP system.
  • Make the most of the accounts your subsidiaries hold with UniCredit.

Based on the number of subsidiaries

For European Gate, you pay to Alpha Bank:

  1. A lump sum for activating it.
  2. A monthly fee, depending on the number of your subsidiaries.
