I received a "suspicious" e-mail asking my account or code details. What should I do?

Alpha Bank will never ask in any manner (by phone or e-mail) your password for the e-Banking services. It is personal and you should never disclose it to anyone.

Do not reply to any e-mails that seem to originate from Alpha Bank (they often contain spelling errors or are not properly phrased) asking you to fill in details of your bank accounts, cards or codes for the Alpha Bank e-services. They are sent by malicious users, in an attempt to steal your codes and gain access to the e-services or to your personal data.

Do not follow any links included in third-party e-mails or websites which lead you to websites simulating the Alpha Bank website and ask you to fill in details of your accounts, cards or codes.

Check here for more tips about how to protect your transactions through the Alpha Bank e-services.

Forward any similar "suspicious" e-mail to the Bank at ebankingsupport@alpha.gr and then delete it from your e-mailbox, without taking any further step.
