The term of the Alpha Online Term Deposit for Business is flexible. You can choose:

• 7 or 14 days
• 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months

Online withdrawal

You may withdraw all your initial deposit online early. However, you will be charged with a penalty for early withdrawal.

Fixed interest rate 

We set the interest rate depending on your capital and the term you choose for your Alpha Online Term Deposit for Business. The interest rate remains fixed over the entire term of the term deposit.
We inform you of the interest rate through myAlpha Web, before you accept the terms.

Monthly interest payment

Interest is paid monthly, provided that the term of the online term deposit is equal to or greater than 1 month. 
On the maturity date of each interest payment, we pay the interest in the account you have linked to the term deposit, net of tax, which currently stands at 15%. If the interest payment maturity date falls on a non-business day, we pay the interest on the next business day.

AER (Annual Equivalent Rate) The AER calculation is based on the interest rate, net of the corresponding tax (currently the tax rate stands at 15% of the interest), provided that the principal and interest rate will not change for 1 year and provided that the interest arising from interim interest payments will not be withdrawn.

The Alpha Online Term Deposit is addressed to sole proprietorships and legal entities, provided it is stipulated in their legal documents.

To get the Alpha Online Term Deposit for Business, your legal representatives must first visit the Branch of your choice. We check your legal documents and activate the service.

Once the service is activated, all your authorised e-Banking users can view, manage and even open a new term deposit through myAlpha Web for Business.
