Investments that add value

We financed the reconstruction of 2 historic buildings in large urban centres which now operate as sustainable hotels: 

• Moxy Athens City in Athens
• Moxy Patras Marina in Patra
  

Part of the reconstruction loan agreement comes with guarantee from the Hellenic Development Bank.

Moxy Athens City then became the first green hotel in Greece to receive LEED Gold certification. The certification ensures that the building is highly sustainable as to:

• Building materials
• Energy saving
• Healthy interior space

Regeneration of the urban landscape

Moxy Athens City

The abandoned Sarogleio Mansion on Stadiou Street, which had housed the Athens courthouses in the past, was transformed into the Moxy Athens City hotel, breathing new life into the Athens centre.

Moxy Patras Marina

The historic Moreas Hotel in Patra was renovated and has been operating under the Moxy Patras Marina name since 2019. The 7-storey building, with 4,500 sq. m. of above-ground space and 650 sq. m. of underground space, is a landmark for the local community.
