Documentary Collections
Alpha Bank provides reliable management of documentary collections, so that both importers and exporters can be sure the agreed terms are met during payment and delivery of the bill of lading.
Imports
Alpha Bank ensures that the bills of lading are released and the instructions sent to the supplier by the Bank are followed, either by paying the amount due or by signing a deed for deferred payment.
Exports
The Bank forwards the bills of lading, ensuring that the payment terms are in line with the agreed shipping terms for delivery abroad.
Moreover, it monitors the procedure for delivering the bills of lading and accepting the debt securities, as well as the overdue debts.
Simple Imports
We offer you the option to make easy, secure and direct payments to your suppliers through one of our Branches or through myAlpha Web for Businesses and Alpha Mass Payments.
You can pay for imports up to €500,000 in euros or the equivalent in foreign currency without currency conversion:
- To suppliers at Alpha Bank, on the same day or at a future date.
- To other banks in Greece or abroad on the same day, the next business day or at a future date (only in euro).
- Without any geographical restrictions.
- With new options for paying the fees.
