Alpha Bank invests in Renewable Energy Sources (RES), taking action and creating products focused on protecting the environment and tackling climate change, as part of its efforts to integrate the ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) criteria in its operations.

In line with the objective “A Clean Planet for all”, the purpose of the Alpha Photovoltaic product, which is addressed to businesses wishing to invest in the construction of Photovoltaic Stations with a power output up to 1 MW, is to support Electric Power generation and sale

The Bank covers the following categories of costs:

Photovoltaic Station licensing and construction,
landscaping of the installation area,
acquisition of the necessary equipment, cabling and custom support installations (PV panels & inverters),
connection to the electricity Network (pursuant to the binding connection terms).

Existing or New Businesses established for the specific purpose of generating and selling electric power, of any legal form.
Energy Communities of private interest.
Farmers registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings.

Financing amount: Up to 70% of the investment’s budgeted cost.

Duration: Up to 180 months (15 years).

Loan servicing: Repayment of the loan is by means of amortization installments paid on a quarterly basis.

The loan installments are paid by standing payment order from the sight account to which the proceeds from the sale of the generated electric power are credited.

Grace period: Up to 12 months, with quarterly payment of interest.

Early repayment: Partial or full, without penalty.

Disbursement

Lump-sum disbursement or progress disbursements against the costs incurred, in accordance with the progress of the project's construction.
