Career highlights and studies
He studied Mechanical Engineering at City University, UK, and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, UK. He has more than 20 years of experience in investment and corporate banking. He commenced his banking career at Credit Suisse and in 2006 he joined Merrill Lynch, which subsequently formed part of the Bank of America, where he served as Managing Director, Country Executive for Greece and Head of European Transportation Infrastructure. Throughout his career, he participated as an advisor in more than 100 international transactions with a total value of over €200 billion, including on major mergers and acquisitions, capital increases and complex financing transactions for the Greek banking sector, the Greek State and leading Greek and international corporations and investors. He also has extensive experience in transport infrastructure, having played a pivotal role in recent years in some of the sector’s most significant transactions involving airports, ports and toll roads, representing leading international infrastructure groups, investment funds and sovereign entities. On 15.09.2026 he was appointed Chief of Wholesale Banking.
