Digital Business Onboarding: Document Types

The following documents must be submitted for the legalisation of A.E.:

• Statutes
  Current consolidated statutes, recently approved by the GCR (General Commercial Registry)
• GG/GCR Announcement
  Government Gazette or GCR Announcement on the establishment of the SA. 
• Minutes of the General Meeting (G)
  GM Minutes on the election of the current Board of Directors (BoD) and any decisions to replace its members (Exceptionally, providing GM Minutes is not required for newly established SAs where the first BoD is appointed with the establishment act).
• BoD Minutes 
  Board minutes on the constitution/re-establishment of the BoD and the appointment of the representatives of the SA.
• GCR Certificate
  Recent general GCR certificate (issued 3 months ago at most), listing all the amendments to the SA Statutes.

In specific cases addittional documents must be submitted:

• when there is a special representation of the company for conducting e-banking or for corporate debit card issuance (indicatively, special A.E. BoD Minutes) 
  
• where the establishment of the company requires approval by a supervisory authority (e.g. credit institution, insurance company), which requires the submission of a supervisory authority's decision. 

The following documents must be submitted for the certification of AE:

• Income Tax Statement
  The income tax return must concern the last fiscal year and be electronically validated by the tax authority. Alternatively, published financial statements of the company may be submitted for the certification of the financial data.
  In the case of a newly established company that has not submitted an initial income tax return, the current year's periodical VAT returns or the business activity commencement certificate shall be submitted.
  It should be noted that when the initial income tax return for the company is submitted, it should also be submitted to the Bank.
  
   

• Telephone Bill
  To verify the company's telephone number, a copy of the telephone provider bill in the name of the company shall be submitted to the Bank. 
  If the company telephone is shown on legal documents, no additional document is required.
  If the company does not have a telephone subscription in its name and is a one-person company, the telephone of a legal representative/owner of the company may be certified.

The following documents must be submitted for the legalisation of O.E.:

• Statutes
  GP establishment statutes and amendments thereto, confirming their registration in the GCR.

• GCR Certificate
  Recent general GCR certificate (issued 3 months ago at most) (and/or certificate of changes from the First Instance Court for GPs set up before 4.4.2011) on the changes of the GP.
  
• Other Documents 
  If the GP includes participation by Legal Entities, their legalisation documents, depending on the legal form of each entity.
  In case of death of one of the partners and if there is a statutory provision for continuation of the GP between surviving partners and the deceased partner's heirs, legalisation documents of those heirs (for details visit alpha.gr).

Κατά περίπτωση, είναι αναγκαίο να υποβάλλονται και πρόσθετα έγγραφα, όπως:

• όταν υφίσταται ειδική εκπροσώπηση της εταιρίας για τη διενέργεια συναλλαγών στο e-banking ή τη χορήγηση εταιρικής χρεωστικής κάρτας (ενδεικτικά, ειδικό πρακτικό ΔΣ ΑΕ, απόφαση συνέλευσης εταίρων ΕΠΕ/ΙΚΕ, κοινή δήλωση εταίρων ΟΕ/ΕΕ).
  

The following documents must be submitted for the certification of OE:

• Income Tax Statement
  The income tax return must concern the last fiscal year and be electronically validated by the tax authority. 
  In the case of a newly established company that has not submitted an initial income tax return, the current year's periodical VAT returns or the business activity commencement certificate shall be submitted.
  It should be noted that when the initial income tax return for the company is submitted, it should also be submitted to the Bank.

• Telephone Bill
  To verify the company's telephone number, a copy of the telephone provider bill in the name of the company shall be submitted to the Bank. 
  If the company telephone is shown on legal documents, no additional document is required.
  If the company does not have a telephone in its name, a telephone provider bill in the name of the company’s legal representative may be filed.

The following documents must be submitted for the legalisation of I.K.E.:

• Statutes
  PCC establishment statutes and amendments thereto, confirming their registration in the GCR.
  
   
• GCR Certificate
  Recent general GCR certificate (issued 3 months ago at most) on changes in the PCC.
  
   
  
  
• Other Documents 
  In the event that PCC includes participation by Legal Entities, their legalisation documents, depending on the legal form of each entity.

In specific cases additional documents must be submitted:

• when there is a special representation of the company for conducting e-banking or for corporate debit card issuance (indicatively, E.P.E./I.K.E. partner meeting decision)
  
• in the case of I.K.E./E.P.E., where the manager is appointed by decision of the meeting of partners (and not by the Statutes)

The following documents must be submitted for the certification of IKE:

• Income Tax Statement
  The income tax return must concern the last fiscal year and be electronically validated by the tax authority. Alternatively, published financial statements of the company may be submitted for the certification of the financial data.
  In the case of a newly established company that has not submitted an initial income tax return, the current year's periodical VAT returns or the business activity commencement certificate shall be submitted.
  It should be noted that when the initial income tax return for the company is submitted, it should also be submitted to the Bank.

• Telephone Bill
  To verify the company's telephone number, a copy of the telephone provider bill in the name of the company shall be submitted to the Bank. 
  If the company telephone is shown on legal documents, no additional document is required.

  Recent general GCR certificate (issued 3 months ago at most) (and/or certificate of changes from the First Instance Court for LPs set up before 4.4.2011) on the changes of the LP.
  
   
• Other Documents 
  If the LP includes participation by Legal Entities, their legalisation documents, depending on the legal form of each entity.
  In case of death of one of the partners and if there is a statutory provision for continuation of the LP between surviving partners and the deceased partner's heirs, legalisation documents of those heirs (for details visit alpha.gr).

In specific cases addittional documents must be submitted:

• when there is a special representation of the company for conducting e-banking or for corporate debit card issuance (indicatively, joint statement by O.E./E.E. partners)
  

The following documents must be submitted for the certification of EE:

• Income Tax Statement
  The income tax return must concern the last fiscal year and be electronically validated by the tax authority. 
  In the case of a newly established company that has not submitted an initial income tax return, the current year's periodical VAT returns or the business activity commencement certificate shall be submitted.
  It should be noted that when the initial income tax return for the company is submitted, it should also be submitted to the Bank.

• Telephone Bill
  To verify the company's telephone number, a copy of the telephone provider bill in the name of the company shall be submitted to the Bank. 
  If the company telephone is shown on legal documents, no additional document is required.
  If the company does not have a telephone in its name, a telephone provider bill in the name of the company’s legal representative may be filed.

The following documents must be submitted for the legalisation of E.P.E.:

• Statutes
  Existing consolidated statutes of the LLC, with a certificate of its registration in the GCR.
• GG/GCR Announcement  
  GG or GCR Announcement on the establishment of the LLC. 
  
• GCR Certificate
  Recent general GCR certificate (issued 3 months ago at most) (and/or certificate of changes from the First Instance Court for LLCs set up before 4.4.2011) on the changes of the LLC.
  
   

In specific cases addittional documents must be submitted:

• when there is a special representation of the company for conducting e-banking or for corporate debit card issuance (indicatively, E.P.E./I.K.E. partner meeting decision) 
• in the case of I.K.E./E.P.E., where the manager is appointed by decision of the meeting of partners (and not by the Statutes)
  

The following documents must be submitted for the certification of EPE:

• Income Tax Statement
  The income tax return must concern the last fiscal year and be electronically validated by the tax authority. Alternatively, published financial statements of the company may be submitted for the certification of the financial data.
  In the case of a newly established company that has not submitted an initial income tax return, the current year's periodical VAT returns or the business activity commencement certificate shall be submitted.
  It should be noted that when the initial income tax return for the company is submitted, it should also be submitted to the Bank.
