Fraudulent e-mail messages - Important announcement
Alpha Bank informs the public that fraudulent e-mail messages have been sent to internet users, aiming to get hold of confidential information.
These messages, which come from malicious third parties, ask for personal data (account number, security codes etc.) from internet users, through connections with web sites, which have no relation with Alpha Bank.
In case that Alpha Bank’s customers have filled in personal data, they must contact as soon as possible the Bank’s Call Centre at 801 11 326 0000 or 210 326 0000 (everyday, 8:00 a.m.- 10:30 p.m.) .
We remind you that:
- Receivers of the above messages are requested to ignore and delete them.
- Alpha Bank wil never ask for security codes in any way (by phone or email)
- Internet users have to follow the basic safety practices, including the use of antivirus and antispyware utilities
