When scheduling a transfer, you can choose one of the following options:
- Regular priority
Between Alpha Bank accounts:
The money is transferred instantly to the beneficiary’s account.To accounts kept at other banks in Greece/abroad:
The earliest possible date for the transfer to be executed is the next working day. The option to choose the next working day as the transfer date is provided until 22:00 hours of the previous working day. - Immediate priority
To accounts kept at other domestic banks:
The beneficiary's account at any other bank is credited on the same day. The option applies only for transfers made to accounts kept at other domestic banks participating in the IRIS Online Payments system, on working days (8:00 - 16:15) and for amounts up to Euro 12,500. - Post-dated
For transfers to accounts kept at other banks (in Greece or abroad), the earliest possible date on which the transaction will be executed is the next working day, while in all cases where the order amount is in Euro, the option to submit a transaction for execution at a future date is also provided.
For transfers in another currency, the orders may be submitted for execution on the next working day only.
The option to choose the next working day as the transfer date is provided until 22:00 hours of the previous working day.
For example, if you submit your transfer before 22:00 hours on Monday (via the myAlpha electronic services), then:
- if the transfer is towards a domestic bank, the order will be sent to the other bank and the beneficiary’s account will be credited on Tuesday at the earliest
- if the transfer is towards a bank abroad:
- if the order amount is in Euro, the beneficiary’s account will be credited on Wednesday at the earliest*
- if the amount transferred is in another currency, the beneficiary’s account will be credited on Thursday at the earliest*.
