What is the bleep card?
The prepaid, reloadable card that is issued entirely online, via the bleep app.
It is immediately available via the bleep app, for your online purchases. In addition, it is sent to you by post so that you can use it for purchases at stores featuring the Mastercard logo, all over the world!
You can activate, load and manage your card, as well as monitor its balance and activity, via the bleep app.
How can I obtain the bleep card?
To obtain your bleep card, all you have to do is download the bleep app. You will only need a few minutes to issue it! Just scan your identity card or passport and take a selfie. If you are already an Alpha Bank Customer, you can also log in to the bleep app and issue your card using your myAlpha Web username and password.
How will I receive the PIN for my card?
Once you activate your card via the bleep app, you will immediately receive the PIN on your mobile phone.
Via the myAlpha Web by selecting the "Send PIN" transaction from the card's options menu, as shown in the Overview.
What is the cost of issuing a bleep card?
Subscription fee (one-off)
1% on the load amount, €1 minimum charge and €5 maximum charge

How can I top it up?
Very easily, via the bleep app, by charging any of your cards, issued by any bank
Via myAlpha Web, by transferring the desired amount from a deposit account.
I have not yet received my card by post. Can I carry out transactions?
Of course you can! You can make online purchases using your card details, available in the bleep app. The 3-digit CVC2 code will appear if you press the corresponding button on your card, as displayed in the bleep app.
I received my card by post. Where can I use it?
After you activate your card online, via the bleep app, you can make your purchases at stores featuring the Mastercard logo, all over the world!
Can I also have interest-free instalments?
No. This is a prepaid card so you can carry out transactions according to the amount that you have loaded the card with each time.
Can I carry out contactless transactions?
Yes, by using your card as well as your mobile phone, via the Tap ‘n Pay service, at POS terminals featuring the contactless logo.
What are the limits for my transactions?
The following limits apply to bleep card transactions:
Limits per loading: €5 minimum and €2,500 maximum
Daily limit for purchases: €1,500
Daily withdrawal and unloading limit: €800
In addition, if you are not a certified Alpha Bank Customer and have issued a bleep card with limited transaction limits, the following limits apply:
Maximum amount of electronically stored charges: 500 €
Trading limit (purchases and withdrawals): 250 € per month
If you do not have an Alpha Bank account, you can unload your card at any Alpha Bank Branch, by transferring the amount that you unload to an account of a third bank (i.e. as a fund transfer), which is subject to a fund transfer commission, as applicable in accordance with the Alpha Bank price list.
