Our approach in selecting our suppliers is based on concrete, quantifiable criteria

In line with its environmental policy, the Bank seeks to purchase eco-friendly, top-quality products with a minimum footprint on the environment

For this reason, it contacts socially responsible companies among its Customers and, in the final product-Supplier selection stage, favours the development and implementation of an environmental management policy and system in accordance with international standards (e.g. ISO 14001).

The selection is based on specific criteria and takes place by following procedures that include electronic auctions and the electronic submission of Requests for Interest (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), in order to promote healthy competition and transparency.

Finally, the Bank maintains an electronic Register of Suppliers, in connection with which a project is currently under way for the structuring and establishment of an evaluation system based on environmental and other criteria.
