Which trees does the action protect

Hungarian oak
A deciduous tree, reaching heights of 25 metres. It is the main tree in the Arona forest.

Oriental hornbeam
A small tree, rarely over 10 metres tall, and often shrubby.

Flowering ash
A deciduous tree growing to 15-25 metre tall with a trunk up to 1 metre diameter.

Restoration of the private Arona forest in Katerini, Greece, occupying an area over 1,000 hectares.

30,000 trees will be planted in the period 2021-2026. After that, they will be cared for by special scientists.
