What kind of applications can I submit online via Alpha e-Banking;

Via the Alpha e-Banking services, you can:

  • order a chequebook (Accounts > Chequebooks > Chequebook Order),
  • order a new card ΡΙΝ (Cards > Maintenance > PIN reissuance),
  • report theft/loss of your card (Cards > Maintenance  > Declaration of lost/stolen card) for immediate cancellation of your card,
  • activate your new credit card (Cards > Maintenance > Card Activation),
  • change your cards’ limit for cash withdrawals at ATMs (Cards > Maintenance > Modify ATM limit),
  • modify the limit of your debit cards (Cards > Maintenance > Modify debit card limit),
  • modify direct debit details (Cards > Maintenance > Modify direct debit details),
  • manage linked bank accounts (Cards > Maintenance > Manage linked bank accounts),
  • reissuance of a card due to damage (Cards > Maintenance > Card reissuance due to damage),
  • issuance of a debit card (Cards > Debit card issuing),
  • issuance of a prepaid card (Cards > New application), 
  • load/unload prepaid cards (Cards > Prepaid cards),
  • transfer Bonus points to other Alpha Bank Bonus cardholders (Cards > My Bonus Account > Transfer),
  • activate the Alpha e-statements service (Services > Alpha e-statements),
  • activate the Alpha Alerts service (Services > Alpha Alerts),
  • activate the Additional Password Services (Services > Additional Password).
    Go to the List of Services in order to see find out which channels/electronic services you can use for each of above actions.

Useful Security Tips

  • Alpha Bank will never ask you for your access codes in any way (e.g. via phone or e-mail). These codes are strictly personal and you must never reveal them to anyone.
  • Select access codes that are not easily guessed and are not being used on other systems and services.
  • Keep the access codes confidential in a way that it is not feasible to be disclosed / stolen.
  • Log in to Alpha Web Banking only via the official website of Alpha Bank (www.alpha.gr) and never via other links appearing on other websites, search engines or e-mail messages.
  • Verify the validity of the Alpha Web Banking page and the security certificate by clicking on the lock icon in the address bar of the browser.
  • Update your PC with the latest versions and security patches of the operating system (e.g. Windows) and the browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox).
  • Inspect regularly your PC for viruses and other malicious programs using the latest versions of antivirus and antimalware utilities.
  • Ignore and delete immediately suspicious e-mails that ask you to provide your personal data, include links or attachments.
