What does the option to block the amount of a transfer mean?
For a transaction scheduled for execution at a future date, you can choose whether or not you want to block the amount in your account until the execution date of the transaction. In particular:
You can be notified of unsuccessful orders (those that failed to be executed) via the Alpha Alerts service, provided you have activated the service by choosing Services > Alpha Alerts > Electronic Banking Transactions. To know more about the Alpha Alerts service, click here.
- If you choose to block the amount, the amount will be blocked in your account without any interest loss.
- If you choose not to block the amount, you will have to ensure the availability of adequate balance in your account by 22:00 hrs of the working day before the selected execution date, otherwise the transaction will fail.
