How can I receive my codes in order to sign on to the Alpha e-Banking services?

During your visit to any Alpha Bank Branch in order to subscribe to the Alpha e-Banking services, you will receive the security codes that you need for signing on to the services. These codes are the following:

User ID: 
The 15-digit User ID for the Alpha e-Banking services is shown on your "Subscriber Card", which you receive initially from the Alpha Bank Branch, during your visit for completing your registration. After you sign on to the service for the first time, you may for your convenience set a User ID of your choice. In any case, the 15-digit User ID, which is unique, will continue to be in effect. 
If you forget or lose it, you should visit an Alpha Bank Branch  and request us to disclose it to you. 

Temporary Password: 
During your visit to any Alpha Bank Branch in order to subscribe to the Alpha e-Banking services, you will receive a temporary Password, which you will be asked to change with a Password of your choice when you sign on to Alpha Web Banking for the first time. 

If you forget or lose it, you should visit any Alpha Bank Branch in order to submit an application for the issue of a new password.

Additional Password: 
Entering an Additional Password is not mandatory in order to sign on to the Alpha e-Banking services. However, it is required if you wish to have access to all the services offered.

When you sign up for the Alpha e-Banking services, you can also immediately activate the Additional Password Services. In order to generate an Additional Password, you can choose between the Alpha Safe Access application for smartphones and the possibility to receive Passwords by SMS. 

Useful Security Tips

  • Alpha Bank will never ask you for your access codes in any way (e.g. via phone or e-mail). These codes are strictly personal and you must never reveal them to anyone.
  • Select access codes that are not easily guessed and are not being used on other systems and services.
  • Keep the access codes confidential in a way that it is not feasible to be disclosed / stolen.
  • Log in to Alpha Web Banking only via the official website of Alpha Bank ( and never via other links appearing on other websites, search engines or e-mail messages.
  • Verify the validity of the Alpha Web Banking page and the security certificate by clicking on the lock icon in the address bar of the browser.
  • Update your PC with the latest versions and security patches of the operating system (e.g. Windows) and the browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox).
  • Inspect regularly your PC for viruses and other malicious programs using the latest versions of antivirus and antimalware utilities.
  • Ignore and delete immediately suspicious e-mails that ask you to provide your personal data, include links or attachments.
