The Chairman Mr. Yannis S. Costopoulos exercises the overall supervision of the Group and the general, managerial and representative authority for the Bank.

The Managing Director - CEO Mr. Demetrios P. Mantzounis administrates, manages and represents the Bank. He supervises, coordinates and directs the Bank and the Group.

The General Manager Mr. George C. Aronis heads the Retail Banking Business Unit and supervises the Greek Branch Network, Consumer Financing, Housing Loans, Small Business Banking, Retail Non-Performing Loans, Asset Gathering, Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, as well as the Group Company AlphaLife.

The General Manager Mr. Artemis Ch. Theodoridis heads the Wholesale Banking Business Unit and supervises the Treasury, Commercial Centres, Corporate Banking, Shipping, Investment Banking, International Wholesale Banking, Wholesale Banking Products and Wholesale Non-Performing Loans, as well as the Group Companies ABC Factors and Alpha Leasing.

The General Manager Mr. Alexios A. Pilavios heads the Wealth Management Business Unit and supervises Private Banking, Mutual Funds, Asset Management and Brokerage operations.

Mr. Vassilios E. Psaltis heads the Strategic Planning and Finances Business Unit and supervises Corporate Planning and Accounting.

The General Manager and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Spyros N. Filaretos heads the Operations and Information Technology Business Unit and supervises Human Resources, IT, Operations, the International Network, Property Management and Security, Procurement, Organisation and Information Security, as well as the Group Companies Alpha Astika Akinita, Alpha Supporting Services, Ionian Hotel Enterprises and Ionian Holdings.

The General Manager and Chief Risk Officer Mr. Spiros A. Andronikakis heads the Risk Management Business Unit and supervises the Market and Operational Risk, Commercial and Retail Banking Credit Risk, Commercial Credit – Greece and International, as well as Retail Credit.

The Advisors to the Management, as well as Audit, Compliance, the Secretariat of the Board of Directors, the Legal Services, and Economic Research report to the Managing Director - CEO.
