Participation in International Institutions and Indices
Alpha Bank’s participation in the Corporate Responsibility Index
In 2009 Alpha Bank participated for the first time in the Corporate Responsibility Index (CRI). The CRI Index allows for comparative corporate assessments with respect to their Corporate Social Responsibility performance while helping to identify risks and opportunities. According to the results of the evaluation by the Institute for Corporate Responsibility, in its first year as a participant, Alpha Bank managed to win a distinction in the Bronze category. In order to assess companies, each year a survey is conducted which covers four primary fields (Community, Environment, Market and Workplace) and six major impact areas (three environmental and three social).
FTSE4Good Index has been designed by the international organisation FTSE in order to establish globally recognised corporate responsibility standards for the evaluation of large corporations.
Alpha Bank’s participation in FTSE4Good Index certifies that the Bank presents an excellent economic performance along with a remarkable social and environmental responsibility.
