The Alpha Bank Athens Classic Marathon is associated with the high values of the Olympic Spirit and Goodwill.
Alpha Bank, is proud to support as the Grand Sponsor for the tenth consecutive year, the 28th Athens Classic Marathon race, the only race conducted on the original route from Marathon to the Panathinaikon Stadium, which will take place on Sunday October 31, 2010 along with the 5km and 10km Road Races, held in the Athens historical centre and the celebration of the 2,500 years anniversary from the Marathon Battle in 490BC.
The Athens Classic Marathon, with the support of Alpha Bank, has received worldwide recognition and is now included in the IAAF GOLD LABEL races category.
Along with the Athens Classic Marathon, the Hellenic Athletics Federation, organises an International Sport EXPO on Sports, Health and Tourism. This year, the ATHENS CLASSIC MARATHON EXPO 2010 will be accommodated in the Zappeio Megaro (Zappeio Conference and Exhibition Centre), on October 28-30, 2010. Alpha Bank will participate in the EXPO with a kiosk dedicated to Athletes.
