Technical specifications

The following conditions must be fulfilled in order for the system to function properly and effectively:

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The operating system must be Windows XP, VISTA, NT 4.0 or 2000.

The browser must be Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, or alternatively Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or higher. New "beta" versions of browsers must not be used for Alpha Web Banking access.
Use of 800x600 monitor with 16-bit colour is recommended.
For security reasons there is a 30-minute limit within which you should complete your transactions ("Process Timeout"). After the expiration of the 30-minute limit you are automatically disconnected from the system. In addition, if after signing-on to the system you do not perform any transactions within 20 minutes, you are again automatically disconnected ("Idle Timeout").

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER 6
In the Tools / Internet Options / Content / AutoComplete... / User names and passwords on forms must be inactive. Otherwise, Internet Explorer registers automatically the passwords you entered. As a result, non authorized users may have access to the system.
In the Tools / Internet Options / Security, in the Internet category, ensure that the Security Level for this zone is set to Medium and proceed to the following adjustment pressing the Custom Level button: the choices Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe must be set at Prompt.
After the adjustments the Security Level for this zone will be set to Custom.
In the Tools / Internet Options / Privacy, in the Advanced option, the Override automatic cookie handling ckeckbox must be ticked. The options First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies must be set at either Accept or Prompt.
In the Tools / Internet Options / Advanced under Security the: SSL 3.0 and 2.0 must be activated.
Javascript must be activated (default option).
Style Sheets must be activated (default option).
